Must be a registered Republician. Must have a High School Diploma and minimum of five years experience in office management and supervision; or an associates degree and three years office experience, or equivalent. Ability to interpret public election laws and procedures prescribed by the City Charter, The Mass. General Laws, and the U.S. Constitution. Knowledge of office procedures such as billing and departmental expenditures. Knowledge of campaign finance reports and all aspects of absentee voting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to be trained in MUNIS. Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to deal with several detailed matters at the same time. Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays, if needed. Must possess a valid Class D drivers license. Ability to interact well with the general public. |
