Home Departments Residents Businesses Government

Daniel Hadley, Director, began working with the department immediately following his graduation from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (2010), where he studied urban planning. While a student, Daniel was a teaching fellow in the course "Designing the American City," and received a Community Service Fellowship for an internship at Envision Utah, a public-process oriented planning organization.

As an analyst, Daniel oversaw several departments, redesigned the city's website, and spearheaded the purchase of its streetlight system, which is anticipated to save the city millions of dollars. He was also the project manager for the first ever happiness survey. He is interested in the application of predictive analytics to performance management, and in the relationship between wellbeing and city policy.
